Over the last four years, I’ve interviewed around a hundred athletes from a wide variety of sports and fitness or athletic backgrounds. Everything from the lifelong athlete who has never known a life outside of elite sports, to women athletes in their 70s, 80s and 90s who wanted to play organized sports when they were younger, but never had the opportunity...to later in life athletes and weekend warriors.
