Fritz Baldauf, Kris Pursiainen and Riley Glenn are three college students, all of whom are avid sports fans. Kris and Riley are both from New Jersey, and are Knicks, Giants, Mets and Rangers fans, and Fritz is from San Francisco and is a Giants, Warriors, 49ers, and FC Bayern Munich fan. The three all work for for news publications at their respective colleges, Kris at Fordham University, Riley at the University of Texas, and Fritz at Connecticut College.
Started during the spring of 2020, To a Tolerable Degree primarily focuses on the NBA and NFL, with occasional forays into baseball, hockey and soccer.

Fritz and Riley are back after awhile to preview Super Bowl 58 between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs. Before diving into the game, they look back at the AFC and NFC title games, where it went wrong for the Ravens and Lions, whose loss was worse, and the future outlook for both conference runners up. Then, they dive into the Super Bowl, analyzing the strenghts and weaknesses of the Niners and Chiefs. At the end, we give our Super Bowl predictions and MVP picks.
