We believe God’s Word, and we speak to the mountain, just as God’s Word instructs us. Yet still we seem to fall short of receiving God’s best. Why is this? The answer may lie in the next part of Mark 11. Do we actually believe that what we say will come to pass? Do we recognize that our words have power, when spoken by the authority in the Name of Jesus, to bring about the change we desire? So often we don’t, and for many, this is the missing piece of the faith connection. We must grasp the fact that the words that we speak have the power to change circumstances, to bring about healing, to bring blessings upon ourselves and our families, and more. Of course, we must also recognize that our words have the power to bring about sickness, disaster, and death, because God isn’t the only one listening. There is a devil on the loose, operating as a thief, and God has given us authority over him, but it is up to us to exercise that authority. Join Pastor Matt for an exciting look at numerous Scriptural and personal examples of how to put the Word to work in our lives.

Too often, believers fall for the lie of the enemy, that our lives are no different from everyone else in the world - that we must be subject to the same hardships, sickness, poverty, disaster, and more. This has never been made clearer than in today’s world, where new viruses, a struggling economy, marital strife, depression, and anxiety are at an all-time high. Yet according to God’s living Word, these things were never intended for us. There is a way to live above such problems as children of the King of Kings, and Covenant partners with God through Christ. Confessing God’s Word daily is an important part of receiving everything God has promised to us, because faith comes by hearing God’s Word, and there is no better way to hear His Word, than for us to speak it aloud and declare it boldly.
