Vernon and Kyle talk about the idea of risk and faith. What is risk and what is actually "at risk"? If your sights are on what you want to happen, there is a risk of "failure." If you're stepping out in faith, trusting the outcome to your loving heavenly Father, there is no risk at all. There is no a risk of Him leaving you or forsaking you. There is no risk of Him taking a break from directing you. That is 100% risk free. The outcome can vary, but His love never fails. So do your homework and take a step of faith, whatever that may be. The Lord is a sure thing!

Vernon takes us through a short but critical discussion on our co-crucifixion or "sustauróō". And the context of Galatians 2:20 is vital to the understanding. Vernon continues with Paul's encouragement to be careful and not "nullify" the grace of God. You might want to pray and ask the Father if you are nullifying the grace of God. Don't nullify, glorify God for His grace!

Vernon provides some practical tips and a scriptural perspective from Psalm 42 on how to address that feeling of "blah," that sense of spiritual or emotional stagnation. As humans, we are all prone to feeling "blah." The author of Psalm 42 described it as a "dry and thirsty" feeling with voices chiding "where is your God." Perhaps you can relate.
