In this episode of Campus Conversations, we're joined by Phoenix Alexander, a fifth-year PhD student in English and African American studies at Yale. His research focuses on black feminist science fiction, but Phoenix writes fiction as well -- his short story "Gennesaret" was just published in Beyond Ceaseless Skies, a Hugo Award-nominated online literary magazine. The tax bill that passed the House of Representatives could harm higher education by repealing the Student Loan Interest Deduction, consolidating education tax credits, and taxing tuition reductions.
