Colleen Murphy of Bloomberg BNA on Tax Reform, Education

In this episode, Colleen Murphy, a tax reporter at Bloomberg BNA, speaks with Nick Curry about the tax reform proposals that are currently under consideration in Congress. The tax bill that passed the House of Representatives could harm higher education by repealing the Student Loan Interest Deduction, consolidating education tax credits, and taxing tuition reductions. (Note: this interview was recorded on Friday, November 17.)

The Graduate Student Assembly and Yale Senate held a town hall discussion on the tax proposals with Jon Clune, the Senior Administration of Yale General Counsel.
