Today I am joined by Experienced Sustainability Leader and circular economy expert, Philip Mossop.
Phillip started from a very young age at 19 starting his first recycling business in London to move on in to develop a vast and various career– working with Retail and Food Giants like H&M, Starbucks, Subway, & The Body Shop to bring the UK's Circular Economy Revolution to fruition.
Philip is the COO @ Pentatonic, who are an incredibly cool company with a very bold and dramatic mission. They envision a future where recycling, reusing and repurposing waste material will not only be social responsible and sustainable but also value adding and profitable for businesses and consumers. They are working with some of the most notable names in the worlds of fashion, electronics and retail such as Nike, Burger King and New Era to develop innovative new waste to reuse solutions which will replace the status quo and push the momentum of the plastic free movement to the next level and beyond.
Pentatonic's technologies transform post-consumer materials and supply chain surplus into high performance, luxurious solutions for the world’s largest companies and most influential brands.
At Pentatonic, we invent new materials using the world’s most abundant and dangerous resource – human trash – and we do so without compromising an inch on design, performance or function.
We can turn yesterday’s drinking bottles into beautiful, ergonomically designed chairs. We can turn your cracked smartphone screen into high-end glassware. Our engineers and designers have over 15 years’ experience in creating revolutionary material solutions; planet-saving, design-led alternatives to virgin materials.
