- This is Episode 1, of Season 1, of our brand new “spin-off” podcast known as “NBA Fandom” In today’s first episode L.A. Blackwell, Danny, and Flau go all in and have a roundtable discussion pertaining to several top NBA stories!
- During the "NBA Tip-Off” segment, the guys discuss:
- The controversy surrounding Phoenix Suns star point guard and how he was reportedly informed to “stay home,” while the team is exploring potential trade scenarios! - Early predictions pertaining to the upcoming Cleveland Cavaliers game versus the New York Knicks!
- The early struggles of the Cleveland Cavaliers, are there legitimate reasons for concern?
- Moreover, during the "Off The Cuff” segment, the fellas explore: - Metta World Peace being hired by the Los Angeles Lakers’ G League team, the South Beach Lakers as a player development coach. - They discuss the reported injury woes of top NBA draft pick Markelle Fultz and the controversy surrounding the manner in which the Philadelphia 76ers are presently addressing it! -They also examine some of the early roster weaknesses that have been displayed by some of the more prolific teams, such as the Milwaukee Bucks, the Los Angeles Clippers and how the teams should address them!
- Lastly, in our final segment known as “NBA Hot Topics,” the guys debate the findings of the annual GM survey! This annual survey has all 30 general managers vote on a variety of defining questions. Today’s two questions were:
- If you were starting a franchise today and could sign any player in the NBA, who would it be? - Who is the best point guard in the NBA?
- And much more!
