She lost both her legs around the knee, broke multiple other bones and was placed in a coma.  A couple years later she was competing internationally.She’s now a Paralympic gold and silver medallist, six-time World Championship medallist and is the reigning world record holder in the women’s long jump T61.Vanessa Low's preparation for the Paris Paralympics is a little different as she's now the mother to an almost-two-year-old, Matteo.
