International Reactions to Scottish Independence
William Walker has been Professor of International Relations at the University of St Andrews since 1996, having previously worked at the University of Sussex and the Royal Institute of International Affairs. A graduate of Edinburgh University (electrical engineering), his main research and writings have been on international nuclear politics.

On 22 January 2013, the Glasgow Global Security Network hosted the second lecture in its series Security and an Independent Scotland and welcomed Ambassador David Scheffer. David Scheffer holds an endowed professorship and serves as the Director of the Center for International Human Rights. He teaches International Human Rights Law and International Criminal Law.
