It's Episodes 4, apologies for the sound, recorded in a different room. This episode we have my friend of 13 years..PT. We get started our friendship based on drinking like most students, note PT was not student, then as you get into drunken conversations you talk music, play songs and generally discuss music. We introduced each other to different artist, different sounds and we still do that now to this day. We talk samples, how maybe we gravitate to certain hip hop based on nostalgia, the move towards a live band in hip hop, we talk Jay-Z and Kanye's Watch The Throne and much more.It was great catching up with PT, hope you enjoy the episode.

Episode 3!!! On a roll...So we have Jack this week, he's a musician, he has a wide, deep and varied knowledge of music including heavy metal, rock & hip hop. He discovered early on that you can like different types of music via his dad's iPod (one with the wheel), he discover NWA at age of 10 really changed his music world and also the classic video game such has Tony Hawk merging punk and hip hop. From then Jack was hooked, the culture, the beats, the lyrics, the people. This episode has lot of in it and we very much talk about things hip hop adjacent. A lot the episode is about the culture surrounding hip hop. Excuse the noise of my baby monitor going off.

Welcome to the 2nd Episode, my guest is Callan this week, a big lover of music and as we discover very much a casual hip hop listener. First introduced into hip hop via his sister convincing his grandparents into by her an Eminem album at a very young age. He likes comedic rap, something he can just put on and vibe too, also made had a (very) brief stint in battle rap. We find out whether he is Biggie or Tupac, his Mount Rushmore, listening habits outside Hip Hop and his Hip Hop Hell, which is very niche.

Welcome to the very first episode of Hip Hop Choices Podcast. As explained in the intro I have had a couple crap years and needed a creative outlet so I have started something just for me. On this 1st episode I have my brother. We grew with the same music starting point from out parents but our musical taste have differed over the years and it would be great to see what his choices are. We talk about our early music years and to our current listening habits. The podcast follows this the same format, which Tupac or Biggie, All Killer/No Filler (favourite album), Hip Hop Hell, Hip Hop Mount Rushmore (Top 4), If No Hip Hop, Future of Hip Hop.
