PWHL Puck Drop GameDay Hockey

There are only a handful of games left for each team in the PWHL and the playoff push is down to the wire. Toronto has clinched a spot, and it looks like Boston and Ottawa will be fighting to get in. What about Minnesota, who have lost two games in a row? Is Montreal a possibility to finish first, and when will the Gold Plan kick in? (Looking at you, New York!)


We are also joined by special guest Eleni Demestihas from Hecate Sports Group, a player agent who has a lot of insight into the workings of the league from the player perspective. In June we will see several of her players from Europe drafted to play in the PWHL.

As the trade deadline approached, we got two large deals, both involving Ottawa as they try to grab that playoff spot that they're chasing. Boston made a great deal and got a fan favourite out of Ottawa, while Montreal filled a need by trading a forward for a defender. Injury woes continue to plague a couple of teams, with Marie-Philip Poulin remaining out, and Loren Gabel unfortunately hurt in the PWHL Takeover game in Detroit.
