Sherbet was the brainchild of legendary DJ Pete Wardman (of Kiss FM and Trade fame), and was one of the very first Sunday afternoon clubs. During 1995 and 1996 it was open every Sunday from 11am to 8pm at The Soundshaft behind Heaven in London, and became legendary for it's uplifting music and up-for-it crowd of regulars. I was the closing DJ for the whole of it's run, alongside Rachel Auburn, The Sharp Boys and of course Pete Wardman.

It was one of the friendliest and most relaxed clubs of all, a safe and fun haven for anyone wanting to finish off a long weekend of clubbing. It really didn't matter how messy anyone was. And it was just great to DJ at - I could play whatever I wanted and was always at my party best after a weekend of gigging.
It was like coming home.
