Based in Barcelona, Aitor started DJing in 1996 and released his first record 2001.

During more than 20 years of career he worked hard in the studio and played at major festivals and clubs like Sónar, Monegros, Privilege, Space-Ibiza, Florida 135, Egg London and released music on top Techno labels like Terminal M, Octopus, Tronic and Elevate.

His track Tweezer was nominated as the best seller Techno track of 2018.

We talked about his big love for Techno and the sacrifices he made to achieve his dreams, how important it is for younger artists to be patient and consistent throughout the years and not be dependent on the outcome.

A super interesting interview where Aitor conveys a very positive mindset and a huge passion for music.

She’s been releasing music consistently in the last couple of years reaching top labels in the Techno scene like Analytictrail and Orange recordings.

Mha Iri is very active on social media where she has thousands of followers that engage with her content regularly…being fairly new in the game she belongs to the new generation of artists that understand the importance of branding themselves on social media to promote their music.

Very experienced and respected artist, he started DJing in 1996, between 2005 and 2012 he produced many records released on top labels like Planet Rhythm, Rotation and Primate.

He got featured from Dave Clarke in the legendary Fabric London compilation and had collaborations with big artists like Whebba and Olivier Giacomotto.

After a break he made his come back in 2018, getting straight into business releasing on top Techno labels like Tronic and Orange Recordings…..

We are gonna talk about the importance to stay grounded even after success, how the scene has evolved in the last 20 years and what are the challenges for the younger artists.

Greg Notill is back on top of the scene after a few years break, in the first part of his career he reached the top in the Hard Techno playing at the best festivals like Awakenings.

He’s now back with a fresh start and his music gained consense very fast placing him in the Beatport top100 consistently.

He released on my label Silent Storm too and so I got to know him, I really enjoy talking to him because has seen the evolution of Techno trough two decades and despite the success achieved he stayed very humble expressing a huge passion for music, for this reason I invited him to the first episode of Beyond the Blacklights. I’m sure you’ll find this interview very interesting and plenty of helpful hints if you are passionate about DJing and music production.
