Bill Berdeaux had one goal when he moved to Atlanta in 1995 - to DJ at the biggest, most sought after club in the entire Southeast, Backstreet. He was told, repeatedly, that there was no way he was getting a job there. But Bill stayed true to his dreams, and indeed became one of Backstreet’s headline DJs for many years. Today, Bill Berdeaux has cemented his status as one of Atlanta’s longest-spinning DJs, performing at Blake’s for the better part of the last 18 years. And along with being voted Atlanta’s favorite DJ, has been nominated countless times by the very fans who love his unique take on the hottest club music around.

Bill takes his craft very seriously, and has been honing his DJ skills since his high school party days near Montgomery, Alabama. Since then, Bill has DJ’d at the hottest clubs in the Southeast, and even had the honor of spinning at Disney’s Epcot New Year’s Celebration for multiple years, performing beneath 2 enormous fire-breathing dragons for a sea of people as far as the eye could see.

When asked about his specific style, Bill lights up as he emphatically responds “I like to play music that is energetic, uplifting and fun to dance to. My music is for the people, and the music and people make ME.”

Bill Berdeaux’s dedication to his craft, his unique style and infectious energy can unite an entire dance floor, and it’s easy to see why he is one of the most beloved figures in Atlanta’s long-running club scene.
