    Margins Episode 1

    Margins Episode 1

This four-week podcast series will explore the importance of having margin in our lives. Margins are “the space between our load and our limits” (Mark Lenz), times that we can give God to grow in our walk with him. By understanding Sabbath as margin, as well as understanding the importance of having margin in our schedules and finances by seeking God first, we can cultivate these moments of grace in our lives.

In episode 1 we talk about the topics: Margin, Sabbath, Space.  Margins are important in our lives. We can view the Sabbath as a margin that God has given us to focus and rest. When we apply to our daily lives, we will observe the Sabbath that helps us create margins in life.

Galatians: "Standing On Grace" Part 4

Galatians: "Standing On Grace" Part 4

Paul’s letter to the Galatian church is perhaps one of the most important letters for the church. This five-part podcast series will look at its importance and theological relevance for our faith and life today. Specifically, we will look at the sweeping vision of grace that Paul lays out in this letter.

In Part Four, we focus on Galatians 4:1-4 and the topics of Adoption, Grace, and Belonging.  The big idea of part four is to be reminded that God has brought us into his household.  You are a son or daughter of God, and everything is okay between you two! Are you living your daily life like that is true?

We hope that by listening, reflecting, and seeking the Lord you are reminded of God’s grace to us and how we apply that daily toward others in our own lives.

Lean into His promise of grace this week.

Galatians: "Standing On Grace" Part 2

Paul’s letter to the Galatian church is perhaps one of the most important letters for the church. This five-part podcast series will look at its importance and theological relevance for our faith and life today. Specifically, we will look at the sweeping vision of grace that Paul lays out in this letter.

In Part Two, we focus on Galatians 2:15–21 and the topics of the Faith alone and justification.  The big idea of part two is to be reminded that we are justified by faith in Christ and nothing else.  Let us ask ourselves this: Are the challenges and decisions in your daily life clarified and guided by the faith you have in Christ, or do we pray occasionally but most of the time go it alone?

We hope that by listening, reflecting, and seeking the Lord you are reminded of God’s grace to us and how we apply that daily toward others in our own lives.

This five-part podcast series will look at its importance and theological relevance for our faith and life today. Specifically, we will look at the sweeping vision of grace that Paul lays out in this letter.

This week we will focus on Galatians 1:1–10 and the topics of the Gospel and leadership. The big idea of part one is to stress the utmost importance of the gospel. Paul’s passion reveals that the gospel is what he cares about most. If someone were to gauge what you care about most based on how much passion you have for it, what would they come up with? We hope that by listening, reflecting, and seeking the Lord you are reminded of God’s grace to us and how we apply that daily toward others in our own lives.
