KATHA CURATOR was born out of the passion to curate, revive tales of India & stay connected to the roots. Kathacurator has been focusing on showcasing present-day Kannada writers who have woven stories and retold folk stories of India in their own exquisite style. My humble effort is to document and present to Katha rasikas (connoisseurs) by adding my own elements to it while retaining the essence. In my endeavor of collecting, collating, documenting & retelling stories through Kathabhinaya(story enactment) and Kathavachana( story narration) I also collaborate with experts, individuals & kids.

'Puttige Sittilla' story has been picked and chosen from Smt. Nirmala Surathkal's book 'Puttige Sittilla'- compilation of stories. Through this simple story, the writer conveys strong values children have to inculcate for as small a thing as plucking your neighbor's flowers. For adults who are listening this will surely bring back some childhood memories or remind you of your sneaky neighbor intruding into your garden. Listen and enjoy!
