The Heart And Soul of Iowa provides news and information for Iowa Community This information is provided by KHAS Radio. A internet Streaming Radio Broadcast service for the Black community and those who support the positive objective of community involvement and empowerment. KHASRADIO features R&B, Gospel, Blues, Caribbean, Neo Soul, Disco, Funk, Jazz and various Afrocentric genres.

The PL Show” which will broadcast Wednesday from 7 PM to 9 PM
Patrick Lower started his audio engineering career of recording and producing sound in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. With his sight keenly set upon a career in the recording industry, he furthered his experience by working as an audio engineer at Artisan studios.
Patrick’s engineering career which has spanned a eight year period has allowed him to work with many of Iowa’s finest artists, musicians and producers and develop a diverse list of clients that ranges from Bryce Janey to Craig Ericson. His engineering experience in the Blues field has been recognized by many.
Patrick’s long-standing collaboration with Cory Baker has resulted in recording sessions, as well as production and engineering credits on solo recording sessions. Patrick uses cutting edge technology at his Marion studio.
In 2017 Patrick entered into a partnership with KHAS radio owner, Gregory Jackson to launch his global internet radio broadcast show called “The PL Show”. This shows consist of local, and national talents providing both live and recorded Blues, pop and and eclectic mix musical talents.
His community involvement includes supporting the Artisan and African American Museum of Iowa.
Outside of the recording business, Patric is an avid music enthusiast, enjoying a broad rage of music from the 1940’s vinyl record up to today digital recording, Patric is a photographer of concert, family, and nature.
