Salisu Uba is a seasoned Procurement and supply chain leader with more than a decade of experience across multiple sectors, including the oil and gas, finance, defence and the public sector in Africa, the Middle East and the UK.
In his current role as a Commercial and Procurement Consultant with Evolve Commercial, Salisu is responsible for technology procurement and commercial business development and offerings. Before this, Salisu was the Managing Partner/Global Supply Chain Consultant at NatQuest Limited – a supply chain firm in Nigeria. In addition, he is currently undertaking a research programme on the adoption of Blockchain technology in the oil and gas supply chain at the University of Strathclyde Glasgow UK.
He has managed and led new start-ups, organisational transformation and change across functions and regions, including recently, Africa Chamber of Digital Commerce, Home Eat Nigeria, etc. He has the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) fellowship, an MSc in Supply Chain Management from Aberdeen Business School RGU, U.K. and a PhD from the University of Strathclyde Glasgow.
