Hello, how are you friends? We're over at The True Metal Schifter revisiting some of the scrapbook archives within doom metal.



Black Sabbath

has left a mark for many followers in heavy rock. Laying the foundations of metal in the 1970s without a doubt. We can remember them with great albums, Paranoid and Master of Reality. There are great classics like: Planet Caravan, War Pigs among others.





Candelemaas

One of the Swedish bands in the doom metal scene. Getting together in 1984, they have great songs like:

Solitude, "Under the Oak." Music critics consider them one of the most influential bands for remaining with a tireless legacy for this group.





Electric Wizzard

It is one of the most respected groups in Great Britain, for having a dark and macabre energy in its compositions. Two of the productions, "Dopethrone", "Come My Fanatics", will get fans on their feet, playing themes like: magic, darkness carrying a distorted atmosphere with virtuosity. 1993 when this group got together.







Pentagram

One of the most important groups in the 70's and powerful devastating riffs. They have songs like: "Forever My Queen" and "All your Sins". During their career they have stayed afloat and faced challenging challenges to continue a legacy that has lasted to this day.

1. Nithral, is a black band with trashmetal overtones, from Finland, they will get together in 2023.

They have three singles: Nightly Horros, Lost Beauty,.

2. Hukutus is a black metal band, born in 2011.

It has 3 singles: Metsa ja Yo, Nadiirit, Koltus.

The song Jokainen Hautta Omansa is a journey of darkness taken from the production, Oksitosiini.



3. South America is a land of black metal, I tell you. The Black Harvest is a band born in 2004. It combines death-doom metal. They recorded the demos: Mysterius Glory of Immortality, The Black Harvest. This song we are referring to is called, Torment of the Damned, taken from the production, Mortuary Dogma of 2023.



4. The doom metal genre is no longer a thing of the past, the band, Shades of Deep Water discovered that funeral doom metal was their sound. From Finland. They recorded homemade demos such as:

Shades of Deep Water. This instrumental song is called, Shades of Deep Water, taken from a production, The Desolation.



5. The death metal genre is not a thing of the past. In Italy it is the land of melodic genres. The group Absolute Terror Field, present this powerful song, called, The Hedgehog's Dilemma, taken from the production, Absolute Terror Field.



6. Cosmic Carnage's group, there is not much information about them. We know that they define themselves as a sound, stoner doom metal.

He has this latest release called, Cosmic Carnage, with the song The Decision.
