Emerging from the underground scene in Ukraine, Grec - Denis Paskalov by his name, is a man of few words that lets his music speak for him.

Formulating his musical taste from early years listening to hip-hop, it wasn't until 4 years ago that Grec really dedicated most of his time to production of electronic music.

Grec sound does magic to fuse the original sound of house and electro to bring dance floors to a frenzy, with his tracks being supported by Anthea, Alci, Maksim, Samuel Padden & more...

Len Lewis - Classically trained violinist who's first vinyl release was back in 1993 'Come Down on Jumpin & Pumpin'. He has released many tech house/breakbeat tracks during the golden years of electronic music under various aliases including labels such as 'Swag Records, Visitor and Poodle Records', many of which you will be seeing soon as reissues due to high demand and astronomical Discogs prices.

After a 10 year absence from the scene Len Lewis is back with his new refined style it’s a blend of minimalist tech-house, breakbeat and techno. No 10 hour drum rolls/filter sweeps/annoying vocals or major keys, just solid grooves and dark basslines! See you on the dance floor at 3AM.

It is our pleasure to welcome the man behind Archipel imprint PHEEK to the next MINIM Podcast Series. Not just another mix but a live performance by PHEEK featuring an up and coming artist ROOM323 that just had his 8 track debut album released on Archipel. ROOM323 is a minimal house / techno producer & DJ based in Tel Aviv and Milan.

About Pheek:
First taking interest as a sound enthusiast, Montreal's Jean-Patrice Remillard began exploring electronic music in earnest by the early 1990s, teaching himself how to produce and manipulate sounds with software and hardware. Noticed by Hautec Recordings in 1999, the local label released the 12” ERS 1-2-3, Pheek's minimal techno collaboration with Mateo Murphy. By 2002 Pheek had produced two critically acclaimed full-length albums and gained a prestigious reputation for his memorable live sets at Epsilonlab events.

With his music now turning heads overseas Pheek departed on his first European tour, visiting and performing in over fifteen countries. Meanwhile, releasing with German netlabel Thinner allowed Jean-Patrice to consort with a group of peers who could provide invaluable aid and assistance. Beginning to build on an international scale, Pheek now finds himself releasing amongst his idols for such renowned labels as Richie Hawtin's M_nus imprint, France's Telegraph, Denmark's Tic Tac Toe or Germany's Contexterrior, gaining particular recognition for the unique quality and texture of his sounds.

Nourished by his experiences and hoping to construct his own community of likeminded musicians, Pheek founded the Archipel netlabel in 2004. The immediate support and praise of media and clientele allowed Archipel to quickly achieve a key goal, releasing Pheek and Jesse Somfay's Galapagos Excursion Joint 1 as their first vinyl in early 2006. With his little family growing fast, Archipel has now launced the Kalimari sublabel, already at two releases. With Galapagos Excursion Joint becoming a favourite of Sven Vath (it appears on his next mix CD), and Kalimari's Mein Tesh included on Matthew Dear's Fabric 17 CD, Pheek's labels are now firmly ensconced in the international minimal techno and tech-house scene.

His live performances and recordings now in widespread demand, Pheek continues to pride himself on building, creating and developping… Art first.

It is our pleasure to welcome the man behind Acmé & Third Stream imprints Alex Font to the next MINIM Podcast Series.

Alex Font, musician, producer and DJ. A lover of all music in general, his main musical styles are based on classical music, funk, jazz, flamenco, latin, techno-dub, but the principal genre is “The Real House”, which is the way he likes to call it.

Alex began to devote himself entirely to music more than twelve years ago buying his first records and deejaying in small clubs in Valencia.

He is strongly influenced by the cities of London (where he lived three years and continuously keeps visiting), Berlin and Ibiza. His musical goal is to have the highest level as possible, surprising the listeners with original tracks and unusual rhythmic figures that never leave the audience indifferent.

His greatest source of expression is the classic house of the main schools of New York, Chicago and Detroit, mixing it with a touch of latin, jazz and sounds comming from techno-dub. His sound can vary according to the mood either live or in the studio.

Alex Font has performed in renowned clubs of Europe, especially in Spain and the UK.

Alex has been studying music composition, harmony and sound engineering.
Nowadays, he plays the piano, drums and latin percussion, all of these complete his evolution as a musician.

Although his concept of music is to innovate, to experiment and to delve into all aspects of it , Alex likes to keep the roots alive!

Alex considers himself a lover of the 12 inch vinyl and tries to get the best of both worlds of analog and digital.

It is our pleasure to welcome Kaitaro to our 10th MINIM Podcast. Continuing the series with this LIVE performance recorded just for us to share with you. The Berlin based artist is a minimal master at his finest. Known for his intricate and high quality productions on Plaisir Records, The Untold Stories, Hypergroove, Handcrafted and many others. There is just something super special when Kaitaro plays live, with an ability of casting a spell on the listener, with airily drums, beautifully defined kicks and warm synths, allowing the listener to indulge in the variations of sound he has prepared.

At the moment, Sasha (aka Saktu) heads two of the most powerful underground labels in Russia – Heisenberg & iTech Sound System, running lots of events, playing bookings in Berlin, Amsterdam, Barcelona & Zurich, St.Petersburg and Moscow, doing lots of studio work as Saktu and together with Dave Vega & Tobi Neumann project OGNI. He also runs his own record store «Squat Music».
