The new series follows Johnny Rock (Leary)—lead singer of the Heathens—a legendary early ‘90s NYC band that flamed out after one great album. Now middle-aged and out of work, Johnny’s old ambitions are stirred by Gigi (Gillies)—a talented young singer who wants to revive the band.
