- Advocating for an interpretation philosophy centered on uncovering the original Scripture meaning.
- Offering an interpretation philosophy that promotes responsible and relevant modern application.

In the Gospel of John, two passages, John 7:7 and John 15:18, shed light on the inevitability of hatred towards Jesus and his followers. John 7:7 states, "The world cannot hate you, but it hates me because I testify about it that its works are evil," while John 15:18 reads, "If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you."
