In this episode, Alex and Chris break down Nirvana's groundbreaking and emotional MTV Unplugged performance from November of 1994 just 5 months before Kurt Cobain's untimely death at the age of 27. They discuss the tracklist as well as what Nirvana as a whole means to people both inside and outside of the "grunge' scene. To conclude the episode they discuss what member of the 27 club they would bring back for just one more concert.

In this episode Chris and Alex breakdown the Beatles debut album Please Please Me from 1963. They discuss the early Beatles sound and energy and how it was captured and magnified by manager Brain Epstein and producer Geroge Martin. They talk about their favorite tracks on the album, the birth of rock music, and Beatlemania as a whole. To wrap up this episode they talk about how they got into music as a whole as well as specifically the Beatles.
