POSTCAST: Chicago Bulls Breeze Past Depleted Atlanta Hawks In Windy City, 131-116
Defeat felt imminent tonight for the visitors in the #9 versus #10-seeded Atlanta Hawks and Chicago Bulls in the Windy City. Coby White chipped in a career-high 42 points that sent ATL packing early for the postseason in embarrassing fashion. Despite a second quarter surge, the Hawks seemingly couldn't have picked a worse time to have one of their worst performances of the season.
As Chicago repeatedly got downhill in transition, outscoring Atlanta by nearly 30 points in the paint, how did this become such a lopsided loss after finishing the regular season on a six game losing streak. Going forward the Atlanta Hawks' front office and franchise decision-makers will have their hands full in the offseason with plenty of upgrades requested on the horizon.
