Hey there. I'm a climbing coach and climbing content creator out of Kansas City Missouri. I try my best to touch on areas that are often ignored or forgotten in climbing such as breath and mindfulness. This podcast will cover aspects of life and climbing through my unique perspective and have guests now and then. Presence is the most important part of your climbing practice. Never forget it! I hope you'll join this adventure with me.

#14 Jordan Thompson - Ceremony, Musical Expression and Mentorship
Welcome to episode 14 of the Condor Climbing Cast!
In this episode I chat with Jordan Thompson.
Jordan is committed to providing a musical space for others to enter into ceremony. The words ceremony and worship can be defined in many different ways, but Jordan's unique upbringing and background brings completely new meaning to these words. He plays in the band "Jake Wells" and takes the lead in his newest band "Older Brother" - with his two siblings Brooke and Jake. Mentor, leader, community builder and artist are just some of the ways I would describe Jordan. I loved this conversation... I hope you do too!

#13 Grady Fitzgerald (Pt. 2) - Identity, Vulnerability and Curiosity
Welcome to Episode 13 of the Condor Climbing Cast!
Grady Fitzgerald is back! I love talking to Grady because we can always dive deep into the nitty gritty of climbing. This one goes deep - not just in depth of knowledge, but emotional depth as well.
It was so awesome hearing how he has acclimated into his role as head coach of the RoKC Climbing Team. In this conversation we cover being vulnerable with your feelings on and off the wall, positive - even audible self talk and curiously engaging when things get difficult.
Grady mentions a video of Ethan Pringle climbing "Jumbo Love" 5.15b - check it out...

#10 Tim Place - Big Adventures, Exploring Limitations and Staying Curious
Welcome to Episode 10 of the Condor Climbing Cast!
In this episode, I chat with Timothy Place. Tim has a wide range of skills that include a Master's Degree in music composition; accomplished ice climber, mountaineer, rock climber, web developer and happy father of two! I know right... he's pretty neat. I was filled with wonderment while chatting with Tim. It was total story-time with your cool uncle kind of situation. After this conversation, he took me on my first alpine climb "Petite Grepon, South Face", in Estes Park, Colorado. There were a few audio issues throughout the first part of the conversation, but it clears up near the middle. I hope you enjoy!
