    Growing up in London, prison and the police are things Lauren couldn't avoid thinking about. Seeing how they impact her neighbourhood has given her this natural distrust of the criminal justice system. Lately, she's noticed a lot of stuff on social media about prison abolition, but she has no idea what that phrase really means. So she sets out to find out why people are fighting for a world without prisons.

Kes has all of his dad’s old newspapers, and there’s something in this archive of activist history that feels important. Kes speaks to activists, journalists and artists about how we document and archive our social justice movements, and why it matters that we do.
