There are a handful of reasons why you might want to grow your following - future plans of becoming an educator, wanting to land brand deals (in our industry and outside the industry) or even to land coveted spots among the industries biggest platforms. When you're able to grow an engaged audience of the RIGHT people - there is no doubt that this can expand the doors that are opened to you (Even monetization features on IG).
What I want to make super clear though is that growing a following is not everything! You can hit 5k+ months and get fully booked with less than 500 followers. So please don't put unnecessary pressure on yourself (or let yourself get distracted from your main goal of getting fully booked up).
