Untangling the mess of what it looks like to honor God vs. exercise control over your body is a huge aspect of developing a healthy and holy, scripture-reflecting relationship with food and body image.

Sometimes we take steps toward a ‘healthy lifestyle’ without first checking our motivations for doing those things. Today, we’ll discuss the difference between making those choices for yourself or for glorifying God through your relationship with food and fitness.

In today’s episode, I’ll be chatting with Kristin Williams, RDN, LD, CEDS, and author of Unworthy Weight, about all things honoring God in your relationship with food and your body. We assess some core beliefs that could be leading you toward unhealthy food and body-related behaviors, as well as the kinds of beliefs that allow you to steward your body in a way that honors the Lord. We’ll also reflect on what it looks like to truly honor God by caring for your body in a way that aligns with what scripture says about your value.
