The perfect podcast for health-conscious parents
I have been following The Wellness Mama blog for many years now. Therefore, I cannot explain why it took me so long to alight upon her podcast, but I am ever so glad that I did. So much valuable information and I can receive it while dropping off the kids to school, driving to work, etc. If Katie Wells reads these reviews then I would absolutely adore a podcast solely devoted to water fasts… not mixed in with new year’s resolutions. As a mom, I find doing a water so challenging because I am the only person who cooks for my family. And imagine the irony of mom doing a water fast for 7-10 days while her family subsists on take-out because trying to do a water fast while making two healthy meals and packing lunches each day seems like the most insurmountable part of this water fast. I know that you have a household full of kids, so how do you manage this? In a culture where fasting has been demonized as something catastrophic to one’s health, I would cherish hearing the research, the history, reasons for the negative press and ultimately a suggested approach to fasting (preparing your body and mind for the fast and what to eat before and after partaking). Also, how long is it possible to do a water fast before it does have a negative law of returns on one’s health? I am sure this would be one full podcast, if not a two-part podcast. Thank you for listening to my suggestion. Looking forward to future episodes!!! 😊

Yay to Shorter Eps!
I’ve listened to this pod for ages but often struggled to get through full episodes with my schedule. I’d stop midway and pick it up later forgetting what the first half was about. So happy to see these shorter episodes! I’m getting through them easily and feeling like I’m taking more ownership of my health with the tips.
