Good show
I really like Science a Friday, and it is great for keeping updated on science news and discoveries.
However, sometimes it gets on my nerves how Ira always cuts off whoever is talking to announce, “I’m Ira, this is Science Friday.” We get it’s Science Friday, we wouldn’t be listening if we didn’t know that. And if you have to do that, at least wait until the guest(s) is/are done talking.
But otherwise, it’s a solid show.
Maniacal Laughter
Whenever Sophia Bushwick is on the show I have to delete that episode due to her maniacal laughter. She’s so loud and over the top.
Really enjoyable
Found this pod a couple of weeks ago. Been busy but finally I had time today. So worth the wait. Not only do I have new books to read inc The Cat’s Meow (Audible) but when Ira was asked about physics books for a 10 year old I instantly thought of George Gamow - as Ira was suggesting Mr Tompkins! So thanks from a new fan.
