Anne Of Green Gables - Chapter 12

Marilla has finally heard about how Anne decorated her hat to go to church and she cannot believe Anne would have done that. She questions Anne and asks “What on earth she was thinking?” Anne doesn’t really understand the difference between people wearing fake flowers on their dresses or hats and what she has done. Marilla feels they still have a lot to teach Anne about the ways of the world.
