Hi, I’m Dax Shepard, and I love talking to people. I am endlessly fascinated by the messiness of being human, and I find people who are vulnerable and honest about their struggles and shortcomings to be incredibly sexy. I invite you to join me as I explore other people’s stories. We will celebrate, above all, the challenges and setbacks that ultimately lead to growth and betterment. What qualifies me for such an endeavor? More than a decade of sobriety, a degree in Anthropology and four years of improv training. I will attempt to discover human “truths” without any laboratory work, clinical trials or data collection. I will be, in the great tradition of 16th-century scientists, an Armchair Expert.

Love love love
Only critique is Dax interrupts the guests mid sentence.
M L P 👎
Y’all tried to cut it out, but there’s no denying that a few years ago Monica responded to a listener story saying, “Well at least EYE(spelled that way so only as to emphasize the caps) have self control so I wouldn’t get in that situation.” Human, grow the f up. We all struggle, you clearly as well, and that was a very insensitive comment. Seems like someone else on the show eventually agreed and cut you off, but your position there on this podcast that people like to purport as supporting mental health was real outta touch girl.
Love Dax Monica meh
Dax is smart , funny and enthusiastically interested . Unfortunately Monica, while smart and interested seems a little intimidated and insecure around Dax . Feels a tad like a work crush and a little creepy . Woman up Monica ! You’re awesome . Worst thing I heard was when she whispered to Dax that she’d be jealous if he got tickets to the sphere for a guest . Maybe I just don’t get it .
