The best podcast for new mothers!!!

I am absolutely obsessed with this podcast - it has been a game changer for my breastfeeding journey and I recommend it to every new parent who has any interest in breastfeeding!!! It has made me realize that breastfeeding is something amazing and natural and I’m confident breastfeeding in public because of it (and because of the confidence I have with feeding my baby thanks to so many of the tips and tricks these two incredible women share). Proud to be on month 15 of breastfeeding my baby & I hope to make it to 2-3 years or more!! Thank you, thank you, thank you Dianne & Abby.

Yes. Yes. Yes.

As both an aspiring IBCLC currently completing her hours and a mama breastfeeding her (almost) 21month old, I can’t say better things about this podcast. It really takes the “clinical” feel out of breastfeeding and hearing real, honest conversations is refreshing and empowering!

Empowering!

I started listening to this podcast a couple weeks postpartum. My son’s birth was complicated and he would not latch. After the nurses tried to help me latch him a few times, they insisted we start formula feeding, and we did not have access to a lactation consultant because it was a holiday. We went through the gamut of cup feeding, tube/finger feeding, and bottle feeding a combination of formula and breast milk while working with an IBCLC on his latch. I was unprepared for how complicated this was and listening to Abby and Diane made me feel like I would make it through, one way or another. Their episodes on babies who won’t latch, and on worries about whether your baby is getting enough milk, really made me feel less alone as I started this journey. It felt like an eternity, but my son started latching reliably around 6 weeks old. Since then, I’ve turned to the episodes on biting and sleep, among others, and came away feeling more empowered with knowledge and confidence in myself.
