The Barbells & Brothers podcast is a spiritual gym that helps men LIFT & STRENGTHEN their SPIRIT. We do this by learning to accept our humanity and believing in our divinity.
If you are feeling stuck playing it safe in your life and are unfulfilled, this show will inspire you to get out of your comfort zone and start to take a chance on yourself so you can get out of quiet desperation and start to live a life of divine inspiration.
The Sensitive Man
My guest on this episode of the Barbells & Brothers podcast is William Allen. William is an author of two books about being a highly sensitive man. He also has a blog called The Sensitive Man.
William’s mission is to shed more light on highly sensitive males and the much-needed role they can fill in our society.
It is estimated that about twenty percent of the world's population is made up of individuals with the Highly Sensitive personality trait. About half of that group is comprised of males. That's about 500-700 million men.
Many if not most of those men know that they are different, but don't know about the personality trait. William's goal is to share with these men about how they can see the trait as a gift and needed right now in our time.
A Higher Road
My guest on this episode of the Barbells & Brothers podcast is D. Neil Elliott. Neil is the author of A Higher Road- Cleanse Your Consciousness to Transcend the Ego and Ascend Spiritually.
At age fifty-seven, Neil was depressed, anxious, and fearful. He felt trapped … there was no way out. Searching desperately for a sliver of hope, a reason to keep going, he found a Higher Road. More accurately, it found him—and as he traveled that road, he discovered a seven-step process that transformed his life.
Neil’s desire—and his new mission in life—is to share the knowledge he gained and the process he used on his journey to self-awareness, together with the blueprint document he discovered that was instrumental in transforming his life. He wants to give you, regardless of your station in life, the tools and opportunity to empower yourself, transform your life, and draw peace, joy, love, and prosperity into your personal situation and environment. Neil believes that as more and more people follow this Higher Road to true spiritual perfection, a New Era of Love and Peace will dawn for everyone throughout the world.
