UW-Madison Basic Concepts of Music Theory

Each lecture is less than an hour and covers a major period, e.g., Baroque. So, it is not 'complete' and it's dense. It helps if you know some music to start with. BUT, it is very good. I just listened to the Baroque for the second time and I will be listening to it again and recommending it to my friends who 'don't know anything about music, but want to learn.' She seems to be able to catch the highlights of the period and give you an idea about how to listen to it's music in very few words and a few interesting examples.

Thank you UW-Madison and Dr. Henke for sharing!
