Big Ideas offers lectures on a variety of thought-provoking topics which range across politics, culture, economics, art history, science.... Great Ideas And Thought Provoking Expression For Everyone

From the first episode that I saw of this show, I was hooked, and it was the first episode that aired on television. From that point on it was the one show that would stop me dead in my tracks to sit and watch and listen. It brought the most important and thought provoking ideas to all of us, the people that need to hear them and talk about them, and become better in terms of wisdom and understanding of the people and the world around us. This show started and continued the movement towards the world lecture hall, carrying on the traditions of university lecture and carrying it into the modern medium. Thank you for this great show.

I am liking this podcast !!!

Highly recommended as an effective sleep aid. The series reminds me of my university days sleeping through the many great lectures at U of T. I play these lectures on my iPod speaker. I always sleep well with some professor type speaking at the background on obscure subjects. Don't forget the added benefits of subliminal eduction !!!
