If it continues you may need to loop in HR
Further escalation could be cc'ing your manager's manager
Take ownership / responsibility where needed
Propose and implement changes to fix larger / reoccurring issues
Try not to assume the worst
Keep it factual
Schedule regular checkins to ensure alignment
Ask clarifying questions when needed
