    I am super excited today because we are joined by Tina Conrad, DJ breast cancer today. You may know her from Instagram, Tina is such a source of light and positivity in our beautiful breast cancer community here. This conversation is all about faith which is such an important part of my life, but it wasn't always that way. I share my story with my faith, how I went from not having a practice, to having a really deep connection with the universe God's source my creator. It was such a really great conversation because we have different vehicles to practice our faith, but it's the same result.

    “My mom was diagnosed when I was in my young twenties. I think I was 25 and that really pulled our family all together, but then she had a recurrence about three years later and it really made me angry and it really kind of for a time severed my ties maybe to some of that faith. I think there is something about, you know, the faith that you grow up with, but then the faith that you find when you're an adult and I can be very moved now.”


    “But now I truly feel if I can help one more person, see God, the way that I see them too, you know, then I'm really making a difference in this world. So if anyone has any questions or wants to reach out or, you know, Even wants to have a debate. Like I welcome it. Um, you know, I just think it's, it's great to have conversations about faith and be, and be transparent about who you are.”

    “Just even that simple act of just setting an intention, you are, you're welcoming in. Your intuition and guidance to start speaking, you know, to you and through you. And it's going to open you up to more possibilities. So, um, how I support my body to prevent recurrence.”

    “I'm here to bring that level of healing in a way that's accessible, to everybody. And for me, she was like for you to do what you want to do in this world, you got to go in and open that, that door and that box within yourself.”

Like it could probably help other people, and just buy a helper, you know, my mentality always is, oh, how can I help this person?”
    “I'm doing really great because I started this program like now a year ago where I was able to just figure out who I am and not be so scared of cancer, but also to just happen to like my energy and to be able to use that energy for good and not feel like I'm a burden and not feel like I'm somebody that has to be anxious because, you know, That's what, you know, productive people do or something like that.”

    Going down the mental spiral of anxiety isn’t helping us in any way, shape, or form. You try to push away this spiral every single time it comes back but you end just feeling more anxious.  I know this has come up alot for people in my own community and I am confident everyone listening has experienced this too. This episode is going to focus specifically on how to get out of that loop where you start to question why you got cancer.

There's like nothing beyond that, like that 15 minute car ride where I talk to myself, like it was a done deal and I was completely fine after it's just, it doesn't trigger an emotional spiral. It doesn't build up.”


    “It took a lot of personal growth, a lot of investments in coaches and learning to cultivate a whole heck of a lot of self-love as I let go of a ton of pain. But I was able to see my diagnosis as a message to take responsibility for my actions and my inactions and take responsibility for my health and my life going forward.”
