Etown's Barry Howard has a mission of helping people in the community. His next mission will be Saturday, April 27th from 11am-5pm in the Quince Lot in downtown Elizabethtown. BBQ plates will be sold and donations will be accepted for former paramedic Tracy Smith who is battling terminal cancer.

Jackie Gerrard and Ann Kelley shared details about the first class in the Nurture Nature Series. It will be on Monarch Butterflies April 27th.

Patricia Keys was crowned Miss Elizabethtown in March and gets the opportunity to move on to Miss Kentucky the first part of June.

Meighan Cable was recently crowned Mrs. Kentucky.

Several area churches are part of a school supply drive called Tools for School. Emily Johnson from Grace Heartland Church, Chris Garrett from Southeast Christian Church - Etown Campus and Chris Kiger from First Christian Church spoke on what is being collected and how the community can help.
