The life of Claude Debussy
Today we are learning about one of my favorite composers -- French impressionist composer, Claude Debussy. His music is simply gorgeous and I love to both play it and hear it played. It feels and sounds dreamy and there's not usually a strong beat. There's something simply poetic about it.
Here on the Busy Kids Love Music podcast, we've learned a bit of the history and importance of many different musical instruments -- among them the cello, the saxophone and the flute. In today's episode, we are learning about one of the oldest instruments, the harp.
Join me as we discover the ways this instrument was used in ancient times, its technological advancements through the centuries and how it continues to be played in a variety of musical genres today.
