Sabbath: Finding Rest in This World
This week we delve into the timeless theme of rest, exploring its significance and relevance for people today.
Drawing inspiration from the profound wisdom found in Exodus 30 and 31, we uncover the roots of rest that were beautifully foreshadowed in the very act of creation itself. As we navigate the pages of the Old Testament, we encounter the intentional establishment of Sabbath as a holy day of rest, revealing God's heart for His people to experience rejuvenation and wholeness amidst the busyness of life.
However, our exploration doesn't stop there. We firmly believe that the ultimate fulfillment of rest can be found in Jesus Christ. Through His life, teachings, and sacrificial love, Jesus offers us an invitation to experience true rest, not just in our physical bodies but also in our souls.
Whether you are a long-time subscriber seeking a deeper understanding of Sabbath or a newcomer curious about what rest means in the context of faith, this sermon is for you. Join us as we journey together, unpacking the profound spiritual truths that lie within the concept of rest.

Incarnation: Uniting God and Humanity
Today's message is out of Exodus 24-26, and it speaks to us about the theme of relationship. In these passages, we see how the Lord renewed His covenant with the people of Israel and how He instructed them to renew their commitment to Him through the construction of the tabernacle. God was building in Israel a physical picture of what it would look like to live with him. For us today, through Christ, He is building a new dwelling place in which His Spirit dwells within us individually as believers and together as a church. Jesus Christ is the cornerstone of this new building!

Provision: God Provides for His People
We last saw the Israelites on the other side of the Red Sea, singing praises to God for how He had cared for them. Things take a sharp turn, however, when tummies and tempers start grumbling and God's people suddenly experience an episode of mass-amnesia. Is God still good when the situation is bad, and how will God (and Moses!) respond to their attitude?

Why Are Disciples Made...On the Journey
Welcome! Today we will be exploring Why Make Disciples as revealed in Revelation 7:1–17 and Colossians 1:13–27. This passage is a beautiful picture of the people of God, who have been redeemed and made holy through the blood of the Lamb.
In this passage, we see a great multitude from every nation, tribe, people, and language standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They are dressed in white robes and holding palm branches, symbolizing victory and salvation. They cry out with a loud voice, "Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!"
As we study this passage, we will see how it reveals the heart of discipleship. Discipleship is not just about following a set of rules or attending church services, but it is about a deep relationship with God that transforms our lives.
