    • Self-Improvement

Onika shares her life story that can only be understood by listening to it. This was a powerful episode and one that will move you deeply. The discussion in this podcast gets a little emotional and pulls all the strings that humans need to have tuned.

I'd love to hear what you think and I hope you enjoy it!

Onika Dainty's Bio

I am a 35-year-old writer living in Toronto, Canada. I have a background in history, communications, PR and event management but none of that compares to my love of the written and spoken word.

I have an important story to tell and I am grateful you are all willing to listen. I am a person that has experienced some of the worst things life has to offer from sexual assault to mental illness, yet I am still standing, I’m still smiling, I’m still here. I want to talk about what I have been through in hopes of reaching my audience and inspiring them to persevere in the face of adversity.

Having a mental health disorder has given me a unique perspective of the world around me and the people who live in it. I am not an expert on mental health and I do not claim to be on the podcast but I have 10 years of experience with mental illness and the knowledge and experience I have gained as I battle my illness will be able to help others. Every topic I touch upon I try to shine a light on how our mental health is affected.
