Can we prevent cardiovascular disease in women?

Research has shown that within the first five years after giving birth, women start to develop many of the risk factors that lead to premature heart and brain diseases. But very few women in Canada receive any screening or treatment for these cardiovascular risk factors.

To discuss this topic, Leanne is joined by Dr. Kara Nerenberg, an associate professor and clinician scientist at the University of Calgary.
