    Canada's Indigenous Soldiers

    Canada's Indigenous Soldiers

About one-third of all Indigenous men aged 18 to 45 enlisted, or tried to enlist, in the Canadian Expeditionary Force to fight in the First World War. They fought bravely and became known throughout the front lines for their kills with rifles.
Despite this, when they returned home they had their land taken away and given to other soldiers, and they were denied many of the benefits white soldiers received.

Thank you

I'm reading The fall of giants by Ken Follett and i wanted to know more and have a little refresh of informations about ww1. It's nice to hear about us canadians and little known facts. I like it that you get straight to the point and tell us the history, other podcaster are kind of annoying and talking about their life and laughing instead of talking about the content i want to hear. I listened to your podcast all night long during my shift!
