Starting at age 19, Alex spent two and a half years hitchhiking around the U.S. During this podcast he explains the ups/downs of that lifestyle, why he chose to live that way, and why he got out of it. He now lives a much more stable life which includes a well-paying career in construction and owning a home in the area he grew up, the Pacific Northwest.

Her source of inspiration is her connection to the land; through hunting, foraging, fishing, chopping wood, and carrying water for her bus, and simply being in wilderness.
