A Treasure Trove
I love listening to this podcast. It’s not only a great introduction to new games, but the hosts and their guests take some time to talk about how the characters act as a window into how the game works. In a world where there’s never enough time to play all of the games, Character Creation surely helps at least touch on a lot of them!
Unexpectedly spectacular
I wasn’t sure if I was going to like a podcast just about character creation but these two fantastic hosts really make it utterly enthralling. The only flaw with the characters they create is that now I find myself invested in a story/game that will never happen. For the first time I understand why people create fan fiction. Can’t wait for the next bit of fan fiction fodder!😎😁
Great podcast
I joined in at the system mastery cross-over, and I quickly enjoyed the thought that went into how the show is structured. They don’t just make characters, but they also discuss why these choices were made and how these characters fit into the mechanics that make the game unique. Lots of deep thought and introspection about the stories this game is built to tell, and how each guests character creation philosophy blends into that story. Also, light hearted and fun! Love it.
