Artificial Intelligence and Nonprofits: Panacea or Pandora's Box?

Artificial Intelligence and Nonprofits: Panacea or Pandora's Box?

Artificial intelligence has taken the world by storm.  Its ability to churn out research, generate reports, and create stunning images – all at lightning speed – has generated both excitement and deep anxiety.  The impact of AI has already been enormous and the nonprofit world is no exception.  With the sector notoriously slow when it comes to investing in technology, the question remains: Will nonprofits embrace these revolutionary new tools or be left in the dust of this whirlwind of change?

Canadian Philanthropy: Time for a Shake Up?

Canadian Philanthropy: Time for a Shake Up?

In this episode of CharityVillage Connects, we take a hard look at the evolving nature of philanthropy and the changing role of foundations in Canada, both public and private, and how they collectively manage over $120 billion in assets. Recent research shows that many Canadians – including those within the sector itself – do not really understand how charitable foundations work, how many billions in assets they are sitting on, and how decisions are made as to who does – and doesn’t – get funding. Is it time for a shakeup in how we approach philanthropy in Canada? Tune into CharityVillage Connects to find out.

Disappearing Volunteers: The Looming Crisis for Nonprofits
