Chris and his guests share expert advice and information to help you plan your vacations – or simply enjoy some armchair travel to places as diverse as Ireland and the Islands of the Caribbean.

    Roatan, Honduras

    This week on the Travel Show - the up and coming destination of Roatan. Roatan is the largest of the Bay Islands, 56 kms off the northern coast of Honduras in the warm waters of the Caribbean. It combines laid-back, toes-in-the-sand beach-bumming with spectacular scuba diving. Roatan has long been known to divers as one of the top dive destinations in the Caribbean but is now being discovered by non-diver vacationers looking for somewhere a little different, a little off the beaten track, yet with all the convenience of direct flights and all-inclusive resorts.     Wales

    This week the Travel Show showcases Wales – perhaps the greatest secret wonder of Britain, and a gem that should not be overlooked. This is very appropriate for a country with such spectacular coastline and the first country to have a pathway along the entirety of its shores. Plus, there are 1,400 kms of coastal path to explore!

    This week on the Travel Show we explore the world of Best Western.     The Czech Republic

    This week we focus on the Czech Republic on the Travel Show. Listen to Chris as he explores the incredible history, architecture, countryside and indomitable spirit of the Czech Republic. The Czech Republic celebrates the 100th anniversary of the creation of Czechoslovakia this year. Events will include a celebration of the Czech culture such as the “Beer of Kings” from Budweis, the development of spa treatments as part of Nordic skiing experience and the famous Prague cafés where great men like Albert Einstein and Franz Kafka discussed their ideas.
