Nice tips, but little shallow

It's nice to hear about other athlete's experience, but I would like more scientific tips about sport nutrition, for example : how does caffeine specifically activate your metabolism during a race, how to know what quantity is good for you, how to calculate your daily carb intake, what are trans fats and why are they bad, etc. A little more complex content would be great
