After 25 years at the Late Night desk, Conan realized that the only people at his holiday party are the men and women who work for him.
Over the years and despite thousands of interviews, Conan has never made a real and lasting friendship with any of his celebrity guests. So, he started a podcast to do just that.
Deeper, unboundedly playful, and free from FCC regulations, Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend is a weekly opportunity for Conan to hang out with the people he enjoys most and perhaps find some real friendship along the way.

Conan is brilliant .

Conan takes podcast to a new level. I first tuned in the middle of the night and was taken aback by this different style of Conan, still funny but in a cracking fire story telling type of way.

Very smart very good. Netflix are you paying attention.

Watch out for Commercials !

During the deep dive with DC, Conan fills the 30 min mini episodes with 7-10 min of commercials. He wasn’t joking on paying off his beach house...

Then he tries to insert his “jokes” during commercials and makes them drag on even longer. You can really tell that Sona is bored too.

The worst part is is using and interlude between each commercial, 3 in a row. What a total waste of time.

Hilarious!

Dana Carvey was always one of my most favorite SNL comedians of all time. I can listen to these 2 all day. I love how Dana Carvey kept ignoring Conans suggestions of a possible future project together haha.
